Let’s Talk Tea – Leaves Of The World T-Rep Package Unboxing (January)

Hey There Teacup! You’ll all remember that towards the end of last year I became a T-rep for Leaves Of The World, well just a few days ago now my January T-rep package arrived so I thought I would do a unboxing (well as much of an unboxing as I can do in blog post form). This month package houses Leaves Of The World‘s Detox Tea Collection. I’ve been wanting to try these teas for a while now & I’ve also been looking for some detox teas that aren’t filled with horrible ingredients (and shouldn’t really be called tea). So I’m incredibly thankful that Sam and Jason started of the year with such a perfect package.  I’ll be doing separate review posts on all the teas and tisanes included in this post over the next few weeks.

So what was in this months T-rep package?

Cocoa Power Ranger – Power up your energy levels with this tisane, and it’s super secret ingredient, Guarana! Join the other rangers in drinking this super antioxidant, anti-carcinogenic, power up super fruit. Get that mega boost ready for your big day or night. Work or play, It’s the super energising cup of cocoa you need in your life… It’s morphin’ time!

Slim Jim: Are you feeling in need of a detox? This blend of Green Mate with Pu’Erh tea and Green tea will purify and boost your energy levels to boot! Uplifting spearmint and lemon peel leaves you with a refreshing boost. (I think this is the one I’m the most excited for – You all know one of my goals this year is to try more Pu’Erh)

Mr Turmeric, and his 46 friends – Mr Turmeric, and his 46 friends have all come together to help boost you in every way possible. Turmeric is well known for many properties, and the turmeric used in this blend is a  high curcumin based turmeric too. It’s an anti-inflammatory, anti-depressant, a natural antioxidant, and it can help improve brain function too. Mr Turmeric’s friends have many health benefits too, and the Maté tea will help raise your energy levels. (This blend has always intrigued me and I’m really excited to be able to finally try it out and see if it will help me.)

Detoxi- Chai: If a detox is what you need then this is the Green tea for you. It’s a little hot but not too spicy, and more subtle than some heat filled black chai teas. It’s leaves are full of antioxidants to help purify your blood, and It’s naturally low in caffeine too. it’s cinnamon qualities come out best when it’s latte’d up. (You’ll all know that I found a whole new love for chai in 2017 after my chai masterclass with T2 so I’m really excited to see what this twist on a classic is like)

As well as the teas from their detox collection they also threw in a little surprise in the form of their Choco Chai! I’ve heard from one of my fellow T-reps that this makes for a delicious latte so I think I’m going to have to try that out soon.

Choco Chai: The most indulgent infusion around. I mean, cocoa, anise, ginger, and all things spice and nice. I’m a treat to savour. Tell your friends. There’s enough of me for everyone.

As well as the amazing selection of teas they sent, Leaves Of The World  also introduced us to an amazing vegan treat company by the name of Mummy Meagz Vegan Kitchen. I simply can’t put into words how excited I was when I opened up the package and saw vegan rocky road marshmallows and all (and it doesn’t have any fruit in it – because nobody really wants fruit In their rocky road) It’s been a log time since I’ve been able to have rocky road so of course I jumped straight into this.

It’s pretty safe to say that I loved this. Seriously hats of to Mummy Meagz for making the best vegan friendly rocky road that I’ve ever had! I’ll be posting a Green Living Guide review post on this in the coming weeks so I can go a little bit more into detail about these amazing treats.

All in all as always I’m really excited to try out the detox collection I feel like it’s something I’m in need of and what better way to go about it than with a collection of teas from one of my favourite companies out there. Like I said toward the start of this post over the next few weeks I’ll be posting lets talk tea reviews of all the teas and tisanes in this post. Let me know which one you want to see me review first.
