Hey there Teacups! You can probably guess by the title that today’s post is going to be a little bit different from my normal content. But I’m sure you will all understand that it would be very hard for us to plan our wedding and not post anything about it at all. On Twitter and Instagram a few weeks ago I asked you all if you would like to see some wedding themed post on my blog and the result was a resounding yes. Most voters said they wanted to hear about the products we are using to plan the big day / for the big day and what our theme was going to be. So I’m starting off what will probably end up being a smallish series of wedding centric posts today with a review of my Wedding Scrapbook/ Planner from Blush & Gold on Etsy.I want to start this review off by telling you all how helpful this scrapbook/planner has been while we’ve been figuring out what we want our wedding to be like. You all know how much of a avid scrapbooker I am & don’t even get me started on how much of a list person I am. So being able to have all of our ideas/plans in one book is really helpful. As we get further into our wedding planning throughout this year I can only begin to imagine how much more helpful this handy little book will be.
First of can we take a moment to appreciate how cute this planner is! From the moment I took this planner out of the packaging it arrived in I knew I was going to love it. I know people say never to judge a book by it’s cover but come on … look at how cute it is! Think about everything you could ever need to plan for a wedding and then every extra you could possibly think of and that is what you will find in this book.
This planner is like Pintrest in book form, there are vision boards for inspirational images for your cake, dress, venue and more. Helpful illustrations and guides to dress types and cake sizes and space for lists galore, and many many pages for notes. I’m a very visual person so being able to fully put all of my inspirational images and information all in one place is perfect for me. Were not planning a huge wedding (were both quite reserved people and don’t like to be the centre of attention) but that doesn’t matter when it comes to this planner. No matter if you are planning a huge wedding or the smallest wedding this planner will be super help for you. If you’re panning a huge wedding there are multiples of some pages so don’t worry you won’t run out of space.
Before I started using this book I had no idea how big of a cake we would need for the amount of guest we are going to have. I had no idea what kind of dress I wanted to have or what terms meant what in terms of shape or cut. So as well as being helpful for planning this little book has actually taught me a lot and for that I’m really thankful. It’s taken away all the stress of wedding planning and I can’t wait to be able to do more with it over the next few months.
