Let’s Talk Tea – Ninja Brew – Unsung Hero | Review

Hey there Teacups! It’s time again for another Let’s Talk Tea post, this time around it features Unsung Hero another great blend from Ninja Brew Tea. Not too long ago they very kindly sent me a package of 3 of their blends to try and so far I’ve loved everything I’ve tried even though this is the last of the blends that they sent I know my journey with Ninja Brew Tea is far from over and I’ll be ordering some more of their teas to try as soon as I get the chance.

Ninja Brew Teas Unsung Hero is a Green Tea (Yerba Mate) based blend with other ingredients like: Lemongrass, Spearmint, Ginko, Ginseng, Nettle, Calendula, Cornflower Petals and Sunflower Petals. Like the unsung hero that does great deeds but receives little recognition, a cup of Ninja Brew Teas Unsung Hero is supportive with each sip. This energy-boosting wellness beverage will aid you in all the adventures of your day.

Ingredients: Green Tea (Yerba Mate), Lemongrass, Spearmint, Ginko, Ginseng, Nettle, Calendula, Cornflower Petals and Sunflower Petals. (Vegan Friendly)

Sweet – Minty – Citrus – Herbal – Vegetal – Citrus – Floral

Tea Tasting NotesWhist I am a huge fan of green tea Yerba Mate is very new to me and I’ve only ever tired a few blends with it in, so I wasn’t 100% sure what to expect when it came to trying this blend. It’s safe to say I was pleasantly surprised though and in the end, I ended up loving this blend. I steeped this hot and cold brewed it just to see if either one would give me different results or bring out more flavours. While It was nice steeped hot the cold brewed version of it was just so much tastier. In the hot version all I could pick out was the mint and in citrus and I feel like a lot of the notes were lost whereas in the cold brewed version this blend really did shine.

The vegetal notes of the green tea came through and rather than over powering everything else the mint and the lemongrass were much subtler and even the ginseng was able to come through. If you’re going to try this blend I suggest you have it cold brewed, you will truly get the most out of it that way. Sadly, I don’t have any of what I was sent left now but I know I’ll give in and buy myself some more for the hotter months this is such a perfect and vibrant blend for summer.

Overall Teacup Rating: 5/5

I thought that when I had finally tried all the blends that Ninja Brew Tea sent to me it would be so easy for me to pick a favourite, but they have made it extremely hard to do that. The three blends that I’ve tried have been exceptional and I thank Ninja Brew for giving me the chance to not only try them for myself but also the chance to introduce you all too them as well. It’s clear that they put so much care an attention into each and every one of their blends and I’m looking forward to ordering & trying some more of them in the future. If you’re a tea lover and you’re looking for a new company to try I highly recommend Ninja Brew Tea they have something for everyone on their website, so I guarantee you will find something you will love.
