Hey there Teacups! It’s time again for another Let’s Talk Tea post (I love how many posts for this series I’ve been able to write this year already). This this time around I’ll be reviewing an Apple Orchard Cider tisane from a company by the name of Beach House Teas. They very kindly sent me a few of their blends to try and from aroma alone I had to go for this tisane first it drew me, and I simply couldn’t have waited any longer to try it.

Tisane Tasting Notes
The aroma of this tea is much stronger that the taste but, in a way, that absolutely a good thing because when I smelt it while it reminded me of Christmas I was a little bit worried that it was going to just get a mouthful of cinnamon and cloves but it was actually really well balanced from the very first sip to the last. Normally when I see that a blend has cloves in without even trying it I will always taken them out I simply can not stand how they taste and my taste buds can pick them out of anything even if there are only a few but I went out of my comfort zone with this and left them in to see what it was like and shocking I really enjoyed it and the clove note was very much in the background and didn’t overpower anything.
Beach House Teas have done well with this blend because it takes just like the hot apple cider they serve at Christmas markets throughout the winter here and while I really enjoyed it hot I would love to see what it is like cold brewed. The apple was the shining star of this blend and I can imagine it would really lend its self to being cold brewed. I’m going to try my best to still have some of this left for Christmas time because it will be perfect for that time of the year for drinking and of course baking I can see myself making a spiced apple cake with this for Christmas day.
Overall Teacup Rating: 5/5
