Leaves Of The World 2018 Christmas Tea & Tisanes

Hey there Teacups! Now bonfire night has been and gone it’s officially the most wonderful time of the year and I’ll be talking about christmas a lot more now…so I  hope you’re all ready. For me there was no better way to start my festive content than introducing to you all to Leaves of The World’s Brand New Christmas teas and Tisanes that will be available to buy from SUNDAY 18TH NOV. Sam & Jason (founders of LOTW) never fail to surprise me without how insanely creative they are and I always look forward to seeing their new releases because they get better and better with each one. I know i’m a T-rep for Leaves of The World but that doesn’t cloud my judgement at all, as you all know I would never write a post like this and the other that I’ve written if I didn’t truly love and enjoy their blends. (All of these blends arrived with me today November 16th and because I was so excited to try them I had them all in one day… I just couldn’t wait)

Brand New Teas & Tisanes For 2018

Mrs Clause’s Banging Biscuits *limited edition*

Ingredients: Organic: Black tea, ginger, cinnamon, aniseed, peppercorns, cloves. Natural vanilla extract (V)

Here’s what Leaves of The World have to say about this blend on their website: ‘’Well, isn’t this is pleasant surprise! Fancy a taste of my banging biscuits do you? Well, help yourself, they’re delicious. With warming spices, and that delightful scrummy secret ingredient I put into all my bakes… festive cheer! Serve me up hot, or for an even moreish taste, go for making me as a tea latte. I’m Limited edition too, only until 23rd December!’’. This was the first blend out of all the new ones that I tried and I can’t even begin to describe how much of a me blend this is, it’s honestly perfect and I can’t stop drinking it. Not only is it perfect on it’s but it makes for an incredibly indulgent latte and I’ll definitely be making some tea infused Christmas cookies with this blend.

Lappland Wonderlust *limited edition*

Ingredients: Organic: Rooibos, apple, aniseed. Natural apple flavour. Organic cloves. (V)

Here’s what Leaves of The World have to say about this blend of their website: ‘’Ride out the winter cold with my warming and soothing notes of apple and clove. I’m caffeine free, and deliciously creamy, too, especially when whipped up as a warming winter chai latte. A perfect snuggle up and get warm cuppa.’’ This really is the perfect caffeine free replacement for a chai latte once you add a little cinnamon and a little nutmeg and it’s perfect drink  for the night time in fact I may even make this my bedtime drink throughout the Christmas season.

Rudolph’s Magic Flying Potion *limited edition*

Ingredients: Organic: Honeybush, sour cherries. Natural vanilla extract. Organic: Flaked almonds, peach, pink rose flowers, cranberries, raspberries, pink cornflower petals (Vegan Friendly – Not Suitable for people who are allergic to nuts)

Here’s what Leaves of The World have to say about this blend on their website: ‘’Shh. This is a secret. If you’ve ever wondered how I (Rudolph here, Hey Hey) manage to get around the whole world in one night, leading Santa and his sleigh, well, I’ll let you in to a little secret. I drink a massive cup of this! It is super creamy, deliciously moreish, with a chocolatey vanilla and cherry undertone. If you’re wondering why I love it so much, taste it and you’ll see the magic happen! Plus it’s caffeine free, and it’s red! Just like my NOSE! It’s only around for a limited time! (Or until I drink it all)’’ I knew that I was going to love this blend from the moment Sam & Jason first told us about it in early November. It tastes a little bit like bakewell tarts but with much more of a fruity kick and it beautiful red colour is to die for. I like this on it’s own and as a latte but I think I’ll reserve this blend specifically for lattes as I think it works much better that way. It’s a very naturally sweet blend when drank on it’s own but when you make a latte with it you’ll probably need to add a little bit of your chosen sweetness as the milk tends to take a little bit of it’s natural sweetness away.

I am Santa’s most secret most favourite tea to get him through delivering his presents all over the world. One cup of me, and he’s good to go! Before I got sent my Christmas teas last year I was slightly nervous about this blend as I’ve never been a fan of actual Christmas cake but this blend surprised me and I loved it so much that I finished it before December was even over so I’m very glad it’s back this year because it makes beautiful lattes.
