A Small T2 Christmas Haul

Hey There Teacups! I Hope you’re all having a great day I’m back today with a post that’s a little bit different than my normal content but I’m sure you’ll all love it just as much. If you follow me on twitter or instagram you will have seen that i recently treated myself to a few pieces from T2 Tea’s newly released christmas collection and I asked you all if you would like to see a haul post and a few people said they would love to see and as it arrived today I thought why not get it done as soon as possible so I can start trying the teas I treated myself to. I might do reviews on them but I’m not 100% sure yet (let me know if that’s something you would like to see). I was going to wait until december to make this order but at the start of the month (up until the 9th) T2 ran a offer on their website where if you spent £30 or over they would include a free Happy Days cup and saucer set in your order (they are worth £17) and after seeing how cute the set was I thought I’d treat myself to some early Christmas presents (there’s no harm in that is here).

So here’s what I ended up treating myself to…

A Festive Affair (Gift Set)

This is the second year that I’ve seen T2 do this kind of gift set and I honestly love them. The set includes three mini boxes of tea and they are more than big enough to last the christmas season. I tend to go for sets like this especially if I’m ordering online and I’ve never tried the blends included before as they boxes aren’t full sized if I don’t like one of the blends there isn’t much I have to then go through to finish the box off. An all of the blends in this set sound absolutely amazing. Included in this set is Christmas Breakfast (a returning tea from last Christmas), Cinnamon Star (tisane) and White Christmas (tisane) all of which I can’t wait to try.

Here’s what T2 have to say about this gift set on their website: It started with a simple Christmas Breakfast. Before long, the table was piled high with gingerbread, warm cinnamon buns and cosy white Christmas as flavour upon extravagant flavour sends hungry guests straight to dessert heaven. I’ll definitely do a blogmas post all about the teas in the set an a mini review of each one. They all smell delicious and it’s going to be really hard to decide which one to try first .. which do you think will be the nicest one?

Who Stole The Eggnog (Loose Leaf – Black Tea Based Blend)

This blend is brand new for this year and when I first read the description on the T2 website I knew I was going to love this blend but having never tried eggnog before I was a little bit hesitant to buy this if I wasn’t going to enjoy it. But after seeing one of the T2 account on twitter post about how it makes a great latte with custard like notes I simply had to try it out for myself. Normally around this time of the year I would pop into T2 in Meadowhall and try out and pick all of my festive pieces in person but as you all know (aside from the great offer they had on) I suffer with really bad migraine and they have been horrible recently so this time around ordering online was just a little bit easier for me.

Here’s what T2 have to say about this blend on their website: Eggnog – that sweet, luscious concoction at the centre of so many Christmas traditions. A delicious mess of creamy, custard-like flavours, this yuletide treat is loved for its indulgent dessert flavours. But when a gremlin threatens to destroy their treasured Christmas ritual, Stella and her grandfather will have to think quickly to save the day and their beloved eggnog brew. I honestly can’t wait to try this blend not only do I think it will be great on it’s own but  I think it’s going to make for the perfect festive latte as well. If you would like to see a review of this during blogmas let me know in the comments.

Small Square Black Tin

This is nowhere near as exciting and festive as the other products I ordered but I needed it for another tea I have so I thought why not pick it up while I was doing this order while i had a 10% off code and save myself a little bit of time. I have 4 of these little tins now and they are such a perfect size to keep in the cupboard and not take up much space. I’ve managed to get these little tins to fit almost a full T2 gift cube of tea in before so they really are convenient to have in the house.

Here what T2 have to say about these tins on their website: Our classic storage range is as practical as can be, and come in a shockwave of colours to mix, match and co-ordinate with your kitchen décor. Fill with your favourite T2 teas to keep them fresh and flawless! I love these little tins they really are convenient and this definitely won’t be the last time you see one of these in a haul.

Happy Days – Pale Blue Cup & Saucer

As I said at the start of this post I the time I made this order T2 were running an offer in which they would include a free happy days cup and saucer with your order if you spent £30. The set itself is worth £17 so it was too much of an amazing deal to turn down and the reason I decided to make this order when I did. There honestly isn’t a more me cup and saucer out there at the moment it’s just far too cute and I so happy that I found out about the offer when I did. You’ll probably see this cup and saucer featured a lot on my Instagram over the festive season as I’ll be using it for all of my tea of the day posts when going through the T2 24 day advent calendar in December. This is probably the most aesthetically pleasing Cup and Saucer set that I own and will make for some amazing pictures throughout 2019.46430821_546673969107180_6444414113421459456_n.jpgHere’s what T2 have to say about this cup & saucer set on their website: Scalloped edges, powdery pastels and a flourish of tiny flowers bringing back all your favourite nostalgic tea moments! Ultra elegant and a must-have on any high tea table. Brew up your favourite tea, pick a sweet cakey treat or two et voila! I’m going to get so much use of of this set throughout the new year. This was an extra added bonus to what was my first big tea purchase since finishing my tea buying ban what I great way to get back into buying tea.

I’m so happy with all of the pieces I picked up from this years christmas range and the added bonus of a beautiful cup and saucer set. It’s been a long time since I’ve done a T2 order and in fact I was even hesitant to do this one because I tend to feel really guilty after treating myself. But it’s christmas and after everything my body has put me through this year I think I deserved a little treat. Especially after not buying hardly buying any tea (I’ve made three small purchases that whole time) since October LAST YEAR.

If you want to find out more about T2 Tea and Purchase any of these products for yourself (as of nov 13th 2018 they are still all available) you can do both of those things here. As always if you have any questions at all either stick them in the comments or send them to me on Twitter/Instagram @teaisawishblog and I’ll answer them all as soon as I can. If you would like me to review any of the teas I bought during blogmas let me know I’d be happy to review them all.

Speak to you all again soon. Happy Steeping – Kimberley
