Hey there Teacups! Today’s post is going to be a little bit different from my normal content but it’s something I’ve wanting to start doing for a while. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know that I suffer horribly with very regular migraines and I have done for a long time now. What I’ve noticed is that people really do under-estimate just how badly migraines can effect people, they can honestly be debilitating and it’s so sad to see so many people out there who just don’t understand and play them off as ”just a bad headache’. So I wanted to put the platform I have to good use and start a migraine centric blog series that will hopefully shine a light on everything migraine. Migraine Moments Posts will being going up every Monday from today onwards.
I have a few aims for this series I want to use it to show other people who suffer with migraine that they aren’t alone and that are other people out there who understand just how horrible they really can be. I want to use it to gain awareness for migraines because there are far to many people out there how are quick to dismiss them and write them off as headache, they are actually so much worse and completely debilitating at times and when you are in so much pain it upsetting when people don’t even try to understand and I want to do the best I can to try and change that. Considering a large percentage of the population suffers with migraines I also want to do my best to help the people who’s loved ones suffer with migraines understand how they can help sometimes it’s hard to see you loved ones in pain and emotions can get in the way of rational thinking so I would like to make that easier for people if I can. I have a couple more aims for this series but I’ll tell you all, all about them over time as I don’t want to bombard you all with information today.
Those of you reading this will understand just how much migraines can effect each person who suffers with them differently so for this series I am inviting any fellow migraine suffers to share their stories and experiences via a guest post on my blog, I think that all it all it will be the best way to show people just how differently each and every one of us is effected and will provide a view into migraines from so many varied perspectives. If you want to share your experiences but you don’t want your name published on my blog that’s fine we can post them anonymously.
