Tea Of The Day (#4) – Leaves Of The World’s – Pumpkins Go Bananas (Tisane)

Tea of the day #4 is Leaves Of The World’s Pumpkins Go Bananas. Those of you who have been reading my blog since it started will know that this is my favourite tisane in the world. I first tried this a long time ago in one of my first TeaTourist box from then onwards it has been my number one tisane and nothing has managed to replace it. Pumpkins Go Bananas is what Leaves Of The World calls a Veggie Infusion its a beautiful blend of Organic apple bits, carrot bits, ginger bits, pumpkin bits, coriander, banana chips.

I almost always have this as an iced latte, because it tastes exactly like banana milkshake! I used to love Banana milkshake when I drank normal milk, and after switching to plant-based milk I was never able to find a good replacement for it until I came across this tisane it’s the perfect replacement for it and is much better for me than normal banana milkshake that’s packed with god knows what. If you’re a huge fan of banana or banana flavoured things like I am you will love this blend and you need it in your life you’ll never go back to normal banana milkshake again. I found it to be  incredibly reminiscent of those foam banana sweets that we all had as children here in the UK because it packs an amazing banana punch and it has just the right amount of natural sweetness. This is caffeine free as well so if you’re looking for something to give to children as a healthy replacement for sugary milkshake or fruit cordial this would be perfect.

Like I said I normally have this as an iced latte but I recently tried it as a hot latte with a dusting of cinnamon and kicked myself for not trying it like that sooner because it was amazing. I had to use a little bit more than I normally would to make sure it was strong enough and wasn’t completely overpowered by the addition of the milk and I also had to add a little bit of honey as the milk took its natural sweetness away but I find I have to do that for most teas and tisanes that I make lattes with. I no longer have any of this tisane in my tea collection/stash but as soon as I am no longer on a self-imposed tea ban I’ll be buying lots more and making so many lattes (both hot and iced) with it.

If you want to find out more about Leaves Of The World and buy some of the best tisane in the world for yourself, you can do both here (Remember to use the code TEANOMADKIM20 to get 20% off your first order). As always if you have any questions at all either stick them in the comments or send them to me on Twitter/Instagram @teaisawishblog and I’ll answer them all as soon as I can.
