Let’s Talk Teaware | Steam Waverz – Tea Bird Designs | Review

Hey there Teacups! I’m about today with a Let’s Talk Teaware post but this time around rather than reviewing a cup or a certain kind of flask or steeper it’s more of a Tea Accessory that I’ll be reviewing, In the form of Steam Waverz. The team over at Steam Waverz emailed me not to long ago and asked me if I wanted to try out a couple of their different Steam Waver designs. I’ll be honest before they emailed me I had no idea what they were but after doing a little bit of research on them and seeing just how beautiful their work is I had to say yes and see some of their different designs in person. They very kindly sent me a selection of their Tea-Bird designs and I’m so glad that they did. That’s not to say that I wouldn’t have enjoyed any of the other designs (I totally would have) but I love cute birds so the ones they sent are perfect for me.

So before I get any further into this post I should probably actually tell you all what Steam Wavers are should I? Well Steam Waverz are small cup sized pieces of art that you place atop your cup of tea and the steam brings them to life. How cool is that I would have never thought of making these or looking to buy them but they are absolutely beautiful and such a good idea for tea parties, afternoon teas, birthday parties and so many more events.

Here’s what the Steam Waverz Tea have to say about their Steam Waverz on their website: ”Steam Waverz make your hot drinks into a little celebration. Uplift your mind with this delicate surprise. They help you to slow down and elevate your mood with every cup of tea. Simply put the waverz on the rim of your steaming tea cup and watch the story unravel. The perfect gift to share with friends….and a must-have accessory to present all your tea parties. You enjoy the tea artworks multiple times because steam wavers are reusable!”

”Living in the moment and paying attention to each other make our lives valuable.
Using Steam Waverz, you literally give a warm message to your friends. All our designs are made to uplift the mood, to connect and create a positive mind-set. Celebrate special memories and create your own tea rituals….to a lot of colourful tea moments…”

These would make such a unique gift for any tea lover out there because I don’t think anyone would ever expect to see anything like this. They are so unqiue and absolutely beautiful and I applaud steam wavers for bringing this idea to life. The world of Tea, Teaware & Tea Acsessories is very over saturated right now and there isnt much that stands out to me but these truly did and I think so many of my tea loving readers would love really enjoy the experience that this product creates.

They are also really easy to use as well because all you have to do is make a cup of tea like you normally would and then place the Steam Waverz on top of the cup and watch the steam bring the art to life, and just take it off when you are ready to drink. They are also reusable and if you just place them aside when you drink your tea and then put them back in their sleeves you can use them time and time again. Obviously these are not an essential part of the tea drinking experience but like I said earlier in this post they would be great for parties and guests could take them home with them afterwards as they are re-useable.

They are all absolutely beautiful but I think my favourites are the one with the two red love birds and the dark blue version of that design that steam wavers released for the autumn. It was the first one I used and I just think that the bird are absolutely adorable. My favourite thing about them is that all of the designs are so versatile and could be used for absolutely any occasion. I personally think the one with the mother bird and its baby would be perfect for a baby shower and they other designs really could be used for absolutely anything. Even if you don’t have anything planned this are honestly just beautiful to look at and whoever designed them is obviously very talented.

The process of tea making is incredibly relaxing for me as it makes me stop and breathe and focus on the tea and nothing but the tea and clear my mind. I spend a lot of time in pain and I honesty think its because almost therapeutic and these add another element to it all for me. Rather than just siting and waiting for my tea to cool so I can drink it focused on a thousand things these give me another thing to focus on and watch and allow me to break away from a hectic mind which helps a lot. Before trying these out I had no idea of the experience I would have with them and I’m really thankful that Steam Waverz were kind enough to send them and enable me to have that experience.

Overall Teacup Rating: 5/5 | I’ve given these a 5/5 rating because they are unique and beautiful and they provide such an amazing experience. They are unlike anything I’ve personally ever seen before and for that reason they stand out to me.

If you want to find out more about Steam Waverz and purchase some for yourself, you can do both here. As always if you have any questions at all either stick them in the questions either stick them in the comments or send them to me on Twitter/Instagram @teaisawishblog and I’ll answer them all as soon as I can.
