Migraine Moments (9) | The Migraine Stopper | Review

Hey there Teacups! Before I get into this review I just want to apologise for the lack of Migraine Moments posts this year, I had planned to post a lot for these series when I first started it earlier last year but my health got in the way and I simply just haven’t been able to write as much as I would have liked to. I can’t promise anything as it feels like I’m getting nowhere in terms of finding something to help me health wise but I will do my very best to post more for this series during 2020.

A few months ago now I introduced you all to a product called the Migraine Stopper, a device that promises to help you ”turn off”’ migraines that uses precise positive and negative air pressure to stimulate two nerves in the ear for the goal of migraine relief. It is designed for the purpose of stimulating the trigeminal nerve and vagus nerve to calm down the over-excited brain stem. I wanted to make sure I tried it out for a good few months, get used to using it and making sure I was using it in the correct way for me. I hadn’t planned on waiting this long but at least I can give you all a much more in depth review now.52774156_381153222665552_297264930053160960_n

Did The Migraine Stopper Work For Me?

I would love to be able to answer that question with a fully positive answer but quite frankly I can’t and that makes me so sad. I really wanted to be able to write this review and tell you all that it worked and that it was able to stop all of my migraines completely which would have been fantastic but sadly I can not. Since this arrived with me I’ve been using it each time I get a migraine and so far it is yet to stop one at all. It takes away some of my dizziness and nausea but other than that it hasn’t done much for me at all. I’m definitely thankful that it helps my nausea and dizziness a little bit don’t get me wrong I just expected more from it had I have paid full price for this and not been gifted it I would definitely be disappointed and would have expected a lot more from it.

It may just been the type of migraines I suffer with that means this didn’t work for me but after seeing all the positive reviews and review videos over on the Migraine Stopper website I really was hopeful that this would work for me because daily migraines suck and to have even the tiniest bit of relief from that daily pain without having to take medication would have been a dream come true. Just in case any of you were wondering as well I followed all instructions and instructional videos and made sure I was using this properly each and every time I used it to keep it fresh in my mind so it’s not down to personal misuse that this didn’t work for me (It’s actually very easy to use and get the hang of). I just think that for me and my body this just wasn’t the right aid and no matter what I do I’m never going to be able to get this to work for me.52020679_388323058410337_3191528483272523776_nSadly not everything works and the trouble with migraines is that until you find the cause you have to try a lot of different things before you find something that might help you. There are many thing just like this Migraine Stopper I have tried that just haven’t been the right aid for me and I’ve definitely come to terms with the fact that I am nowhere near close to finding out what might actually help me. I’m Incredibly thankful to the Team over at The Migraines Stopper for gifting this device to me and being incredibly understanding when it comes to this review going up so long after they sent me the product.

They gave me a chance and gifted me a product that could have helped me with my daily pain and for that I am incredibly thankful. It is sad that it didn’t work fully for me but at the end of the day every body is different. What works for me might not work for someone else and what works for them might not work for me… that’s just how the world works. 52598147_2303970666546036_1450020404109246464_nOne thing I do want to make sure I say before I end this review is that just because this hasn’t worked for me doesn’t mean that it won’t work for you. There are so many different kinds of migraines out there and this device might be able to help people who suffer with some of them. Don’t let my personal experience put you off trying this it may just be the thing that helps you and stops your migraines. Like I mentioned earlier I’ve seen countless reviews that have said that the Migraine Stopper is fantastic and has worked wonders for them. Please let me know if you have tried the Migraine Stopper I would love to hear the experience that other people have had with it. This device will not got to waste though I am going to give it to a family member that also suffers with migraines and see if it might help them. If it does I’ll be sure to let you all know their experience as well.

Thank you for reading. I’ll be back with another Migraine Moments post soon. – Kimberley

  1. I’m so sorry. I used to have many migraines. I’m very relieved that I have them very seldom now, but I know how disruptive they can be. I hope you find something that works for you soon.

      1. What helped me was rather unexpected. I had an ALCAT food sensitivity test and then stopped eating the foods it said was causing inflammation. I was hoping to help my knee pain and was flabbergasted when my migraines stopped! Bonus!

      2. My doctor never would have suggested it. I was working with a nurse practitioner specializing in integrative medicine. The test is a bit alternative. I didn’t care, as long as it worked!
