Hey there Teacups! I’m so happy to be writing this post and sharing a new project with you all that Tea With Jann and I have been planning since the start of April! Both Jann and I wanted to find a way that we could bring all the different parts of the tea community together no matter what way people chose to share there love of tea and we thought of one or two other ideas but Tea Together Tuesday was by far the best of all of them. The best part of it all is that everyone can get involved and #teatogethertuesday is a way in which we can all share our love for tea and be creative at the same time.
So how does it work? Well it’s actually really simple. Each month (if it goes well during May) Jann and I will be sharing a list of prompts, there will be a prompt for each Tuesday in the month and of course they will all revolve around tea in some way shape or form. In terms of what you post that is completely up to you! You could do a YouTube Video, a Blog Post, an Insta Story Post or an Insta Grid post the choice is yours! There is absolutely no pressure behind any of this just do what ever suits you and whatever you have time for. For the first month of prompts Jann & I each chose two but if at the end of this month any of you have any ideas for next months prompts let us know, we would love to hear your ideas. Our chosen prompts for the four Tuesdays in May 2020 are:
May 5th – If you could only have one Tea or Tisane for the rest of your life what would it be? & How would you use it/drink it?
May 12th – Your Favourite Tea company and the first Tea or Tisane you ever tried from them.
May 19th – A Tea or Tisane you think is perfect for spring.
May 26th – A Tea or Tisane you didn’t like at first but love now.
I can’t wait to see all of your post remember to tag Jann & I or send us the link to you blog post or video and use #teatogethertuesday. I’ll be sharing all posts and videos that I see on my Instagram story and I’ll save them to my Instagram highlight for this series. I can already tell that my to buy list is going to get a lot longer as a result of this series and I’m honestly really excited to find so many new teas / tisanes to try out in the future. With everything that’s going on in the world right now I think us all getting together to virtually have / talk about tea is such a great way to keep our minds busy and forget about everything going on in the world just for one day of each week.
As always if you have any questions at all either stick them in the comments or send them to me on Twitter / Instagram @teaisawishblog and I’ll do may very best to answer them all as soon as I can. Make sure you check out Jann’s youtuber channel as well, you can find it here.
Speak to you all again soon. Happy Steeping – Kimberley
